In-Depth Application Consultation on Counting & Inspection Packaging Machine with Italian Customer

Our technical and sales team recently conducted an on-site visit to a precision component manufacturer in Italy — a region renowned for its advanced precision manufacturing and packaging industry — to carry out in-depth discussions on the targeted application of our integrated counting & inspection packaging machine.

After a full survey of the customer’s existing end-of-line packaging process, we identified core pain points: high error rates in manual counting of small hardware and injection molded parts, frequent customer complaints over missing pieces, low efficiency in multi-SKU changeover, and the lack of in-line quality inspection alongside counting. We then held detailed technical workshops with the customer’s production, quality and engineering teams, diving deep into practical application solutions: we verified the performance of our vision-based counting technology with the customer’s actual part samples, including counting accuracy for overlapping small parts and matching production takt; discussed seamless docking with their existing upstream vibratory bowl feeders and downstream packaging equipment; explored the feasibility of integrating full surface defect detection into the counting workflow to complete quantity and quality control in one pass; and explained the fast multi-SKU changeover function and production data traceability system. We also confirmed customized configurations for packaging specifications and regional compliance requirements.

Both sides reached clear consensus on the customized solution framework and follow-up sample testing schedule. This in-depth on-site communication accurately aligned our equipment capabilities with the customer’s actual production needs, and laid a solid foundation for subsequent project implementation and further market expansion in Europe.
